KB Swim School Founder & Owner

Karen is a Swim England, STA and Birthlight fully qualified swim teacher, with many years experience, working abroad and in England.
 

"I am passionate about swimming and teaching swimming and have many years experience of teaching all ages from newborn babies to adults in their seventies.
 

I have always been a swimmer and could probably swim before I could walk. Although I trained in law, there is no better way for me to spend a day doing something I love, in the pool with smiley babies and children with happy parents.
 

I am an associate member of the STA and a member of the Institute of Swimmers. I am committed to providing good value for money, safe and progressive lessons that are ultimately good fun."

KB Swim School Owner

Jade is a Swim England Level 2 Swim Teacher, STA Baby and Pre-school Swimming Teacher, Birthlight Level 2 Baby Swimming Teacher, IAIM Infant Massage Instructor and has completed the Aqua Sensory Foundation Course.

As well as a teacher, Jade is also the creator of all the baby, toddler and preschool lesson plans at KB Swim School, she possesses a deep understanding of swimming techniques, teaching methodologies and child development; with a focus on child-led and play based learning.

Swimming Teacher

Christina is an STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher, STA Baby and Pre-school Swimming Teacher and Birthlight trained.

She says: “Hi, my name is Christina, I’m a member of the Swimming Teachers Association - I teach baby, pre-school and private lessons. I was also a swimming teacher in my teenage years where I grow up in Australia. I taught at the pool and in the waves at the beach.

I spent my whole childhood at the pool, swam in the swimming club and went to Australian nationals. 

I’m also a qualified Teaching Assistant. I love being with children and being a fish at heart - the pool is my happy place. So why not combine the two. Going to work every day and seeing all the smiling children is the best thing and to see how much they learn, and progress is such an awarding experience. Having a fun, safe and child-led experience in the pool gives children the confidence they need to have a happy swimming experience.”
